Read the selected option first
A product page can offer several quantities under one name. The price for the selected option is the one that belongs in your comparison. Check the grams, millilitres or other stated measure beside it, rather than estimating from the size of the photograph.
Several Al Mutalib wood options label one tola as 12 grams. When that is written on the selected variant, use 12 grams. Do not assume that every merchant or every product uses the same convention. Oils may use different volume or weight labels, which need their own reading.
Work out a unit price for the same format
For wood, divide the item price by its stated net weight. As an illustration, a hypothetical 12-gram pack priced at AED 120 costs AED 10 per gram. This is an arithmetic example, not a current Al Mutalib offer.
For an oil sold by volume, compare the price per stated millilitre. Do not turn weight into volume without suitable product-specific information. A gram and a millilitre are not interchangeable units.

A lower unit price is only one part of the choice
A larger pack may have a different unit price, but it also means buying more of that product. For a first purchase, a smaller available quantity may suit you better while you learn its fragrance. The lowest cost per gram does not automatically make a large pack the right purchase.
Products with different origins, preparation or seller grades also need context. Unit pricing makes quantity clearer; it does not erase the differences between the materials.
Read age and grade claims separately
If a price is explained by age, ask what period is being measured. If it is explained by a grade, ask how the seller defines that grade. A higher price does not independently verify either claim.
The grade guide helps separate those questions. Keep the answers attached to the named product rather than applying them to a whole country or category.
Check the final order total
Before purchasing, review the selected variant, quantity, delivery charge and any optional extras. Gift presentation or other additions should be compared using the actual checkout selections. Do not assume they are included because they appear somewhere on the page.
