Reading Our Oud Product Details

Origin, cut, grade and quantity are separate pieces of information. Read them separately before comparing products.

Start with the material

A piece of agarwood, an oud oil and a perfume with an oud note are different products. Establish the format first. For wood, ask whether it is unperfumed agarwood or a scented preparation. For an oil, read whether the description identifies pure agarwood oil or a blend.

Separate the name into parts

Hindi is an origin description. Muri is a trade description for a form of wood. VIP is a commercial grade label. A combined product name can contain all three, but none of those words independently proves the others.

Regional names need the same care. An Assam description is more specific than India; Borneo needs a country for clarity. Ask about the particular product when a name leaves room for doubt.

Check the selected size

The amount in your order comes from the selected variant. Read its grams, millilitres or other stated unit before adding it to the cart. Packaging and bottle appearance are not measurements. If a tola option also lists grams, keep the gram figure in your comparison.

Ask for the missing detail

An age claim needs a starting point: tree age, time since harvest and time since oil distillation are different measures. A sourcing or treatment claim needs its own explanation. A photograph can show the form of a piece, but cannot establish all of those facts.

Send the product link to our team when a detail is missing. For more background, read the grade guide and natural, cultivated and perfumed oud.
