Choose Your Oud
Begin with one question: where do you want to enjoy the fragrance?
Explore Oud Story
For a burner at home
Start with oud wood. Look at the dimensions and the portion you can use in your burner. Muri, Salla and Zura are useful names to learn, but the actual photograph and size information are more useful than a name on its own.
For a first purchase, a smaller available quantity gives you room to learn what you enjoy. Read choosing your first oud before moving up to a larger quantity.
For wearing
Look at Dehnal Oudh if you want an oud oil, or finished perfumes if you prefer a composed fragrance. Check that the product is intended for skin use and follow its directions. A fragrance with an oud note is not necessarily pure agarwood oil.
When comparing bottles, read the labelled quantity and composition. The wood, oil and perfume comparison explains what you are comparing.
For someone else
Ask what the recipient already uses. Wood is a more straightforward choice for someone who owns and enjoys a burner. For a spray-perfume wearer, choosing within their usual format may be more thoughtful than introducing an unfamiliar ritual.
Read how to choose an oud gift, then check the exact contents of the available gift sets.
If you already know the format
Use Oud Story to explore origins, cuts and grades. If two products still seem hard to separate, send their links through the contact page and tell us what matters to you: a particular aroma, a practical portion or a gift budget.
